The Life Size Skeleton Model is of an adult male skeleton set in a standing posture. This model not only displays the bones and joints of a human skeleton, but it is also hand painted to show the muscles and ligaments. The left side of the skeleton shows the points of origin (painted in red) and the points of insertion (painted in blue) of the muscles.

The full body skeleton is ideal for classrooms and learning environments, helping students better understand the relationship between the human body figure and the skeleton. The model can also be used to study the morphology of bones and the construction of joints. The bone structures consist of the skull, vertebral column, bony thorax, and bony pelvis, upper extremities, and lower extremities.

Mounted at the Pelvis with Moveable Parts
Mounted at the pelvic for optimum security, the joints of the upper and lower extremities are movable. The upper extremities are composed of 64 pieces of separable bones with the main joints (shoulder, elbow, and wrist) movable. The lower extremities are composed of 62 pieces of separable bones with the main joints (hip, knee, and ankle) moveable. The calvarium is transversely cut to show the interior structures of the skull with both the mandible and 3 of the lower teeth (incisor, cuspid, and molar) movable as well.
